Wholesale Account Director

We are looking for a driven, creative, and energetic Wholesale Account Director to join our team. As Wholesale Account Director, you will report directly to the Vice President, Wholesale Sales. You will have a proven track record for getting things done and maintaining a high level of ownership and accountability. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new Wholesale sales opportunities, providing product solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining positive ongoing relationships to maximize sales for the company. You will introduce company products and services to new and/or existing customers, develop and maintain accurate sales and/or revenue forecasts and management of quota funnels. Come help us engage and inform our Wholesale ecosystem that we will build the fastest fiber-optic network in America!

As Wholesale Account Director, you will have the following duties:

  • Responsible for developing Wholesale sales in their designated Wholesale accounts by identifying new sales opportunities by contacting their designated Wholesale accounts by cold calling, premise visits, networking, proposal submission, and customer appointments to meet and exceed established sales and revenue quotas
  • Develop and manage relationships with designated Wholesale accounts to attain additional business and retain existing revenue. Develops action plans to cross-sell and up-sell accounts to increase overall total customer spend with the company
  • Learn and develop further knowledge of new technologies and selling points which includes enhancing expertise in the company's entire product suite
  • Provide comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from new and/or existing accounts
  • Provide accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed sales quota requirements

Qualifications

PROFESSIONAL SUCCESS COMPETENCIES:

  • Communicating - Conveying information and ideas to others in a convincing and engaging manner through a variety of methods, both internal and external
  • Problem Solving and Decision Making – Identifying issues, problems, and opportunities; obtains and compares information from various sources to draw conclusions, develops and evaluates alternatives and solutions, solves problems, & chooses a course of action
  • Driving for Results - Setting ambitious standards of performance for self and the overall team; responsibility for work goals; initiates, focuses, and monitoring the efforts; proactively acting, and going beyond what is needed
  • Client & Partner Relationships - Developing and sustaining relationships based on an understanding of client, partner and stakeholder needs and actions

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

  • 5+ years of industry sales experience in telecommunications
  • Must have exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage the success of multiple projects concurrently
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and work collaboratively with marketing, sales, and channel management colleagues to support revenue growth
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite  
  • Competent with complex telecom and financial datasets
  • Requires at least 50% or more of time conducting sales activities outside of the office and/or traveling for events
